Week 2 & Week 3 (Part 1)

This update is going to be a bit shorter than my last one was, mainly because it was pretty much the same things happening on a daily basis. So to start, I started work last week. I am going to be working at Tomorrrowland Terrace in Magic Kingdom. Tomorrowland Terrace isn't open during the normal day but they do host a dessert party during the fireworks every night. That is what I'm working. There's a pre-party, a party during the fireworks, and a post-party. My job depends on the station I'm assigned but they have a whole dessert buffet, drinks, an open bar, and a cookie decorating table. Plus people who are at the pre or post parties have access to a private garden area to watch the fireworks. Happily Ever After is a wonderful fireworks show and it's so fun to see it every night that I work. That's what I've been doing for most of my time lately anyway. Other than that, I have been to Epcot again along with Animal Kingdom. I finally got to ride the guardians of the galaxy ride in Epcot and it was so fun! It is most likely my new favorite ride. I got Conga as my song but I want to go on it again and see what other songs there are. I have also tried 3 new chocolate chip cookies so far on my quest to find the best. The new ones I have tried is a triple chocolate chip cookie from the Norway pavilion, a chocolate chip cookie from the France pavilion, and a chocolate chip cookie that we serve at our dessert party that I work at. Starting with the Norway pavilion, the cookie was pretty good. It was nice and soft but it had a little bit of a different taste than a traditional chocolate chip cookie. It also seemed to me like it had some cinnamon or almond extract or something that made it taste different but I can't pinpoint it. It wasn't bad but I don't know if I entirely like it so it's probably not for me. I'm giving it a 5/10. Now for the France pavilion. That cookie was very good. It was big, soft, and gooey. It had the classic chocolate chip taste and you get what you pay for, which is a good thing. It wasn't anything outstanding or amazing but I would eat it again. I give that one a 7/10. Now as for the cookie from the dessert party, I feel like I should note that this is one of the options from the cookie decorating table so it isn't huge or super flashy. It was soft and nice but kinda small and also similar to what you could easily make at home. For that fact and the fact that any of the dessert parties are stupid expensive in my opinion, I give this cookie a 3/10. Definitely not worth the money. As for rides I've done this past weeks, I finally rode Rise of the Resistance as well and it was fantastic! The theming and entire experience was so fun! I also got to ride Avatar: Flight of Passage 2 times just earlier today. Since so many people were at epcot and magic kingdom for the special fireworks and events, the wait times in Animal Kingdom and hollywood studios were about half as long as they normally are. Avatar is still one of my favorite rides, claiming the top spot for animal kingdom and residing right below guardians on my overall disney rides list. I also made a little small snail friend as well! I haven't named him yet but I'm open to suggestions. Also, Cast Connections, the store disney runs that cast members only have access to, is one of my new favorite stores. They have such cheap merchandise, furniture, and even groceries. I'm not even joking. They have wardrobes for $10 and full dressers for $25. I would've absolutely gotten them if I had room but I do, in fact, live in a small apartment. The photo will be below. Anyway, that's all I have for now! Can't wait to update everyone again soon!

Here are the photos that go along with this week!

Week 1

Day 2: Today is Tuesday and it's my first day here at the program full-time. I don't start training until Friday so I have this week to explore and enjoy the arks. I was very graciously given 3 park hopper passes to use this week so I can visit all the parks and get familiar with the area before I start work. However, before I did any of that, I had breakfast with my parents before taking them to the airport. It was a little bit of a drive but nice to spend some time before they flew home. Once I got back to my apartment, I took a bus to the ticketing and transportation center and then a monorail over to Epcot. One of my friends from high school is doing the program here, which is very nice to know someone else while I'm here but today was a day where I met up with them for the first time in a few years so it was great to see them! Overall, I was in a group of 4 (including me) while we explored around Epcot. Unintentionally, we were on a mission to see all the water featur...
